NCAC winter sports weekly releases for the week ending on Sunday, November 26th, which include up-to-date conference standings, weekly schedules, team notes and Player of the Week selections, are now available online.
After two weeks of play in the 2017-18 basketball season, seven NCAC men’s teams hold overall records of .500 or better, highlighted by Ohio Wesleyan and Wittenberg both sitting at 4-0 after both squads swept Capital and Otterbein last week as part of the NCAC/OAC Challenge. The league portion of the schedule begins in earnest this week with seven total games on the slate, led by Wittenberg hosting Oberlin on Wednesday night and Denison traveling to Kenyon on Saturday afternoon. The NCAC portion of the schedule opened up last week with Oberlin (3-2, 1-0) defeating Hiram (1-5, 0-1), 57-52, on Tuesday. DePauw and Kenyon are off to 4-1 starts to open the year and posted a combined 4-1 record against non-conference opponents over the Thanksgiving Holiday. This week features a full slate of contests, including seven conference games starting on Wednesday when Oberlin travels to Wooster (2-2, 0-0) and Wittenberg (2-3, 0-0) visits Kenyon. Complete Release
