Twenty-one North Coast Athletic Conference student-athletes and administrators attended the 2018-19 NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum that was held April 11-14 in Orlando, Fla.

The NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum engages a diverse and dynamic representation of student-athletes, coaches, faculty and administrators across all three divisions. Student-athletes selected to attend the forum return to campus with invaluable leadership skills, the experience of exploring the relationship between personal values, core beliefs and behavioral styles, and a thorough understanding of the NCAA as a whole, the different divisional perspectives and the valuable role of Student-Athlete Advisory Committees (SAAC).

The NCAC was representatived by Eric Buer, Shonta Lockett and Greg Lott from Denison, Christina Bourantas, Carlos Martinez and Assaudra Pickett from DePauw, Alainna Conroy and Alexandra Dellas from Hiram, Justin Bosch, Kelly Bryan and Clare Kelley from Kenyon, Nina Carmichael-Tanaka, Chicho Rodriguez and Michael Taylor from Ohio Wesleyan, Blair Broady, Kate Burke and Nikko Morris from Wabash, Nick Angeli from Wittenberg and Manny Burton, Aubri McKoy and Andy Zidron from Wooster.

The Leadership Forum, created in 1997, has been a life-changing experience for more than 5,000 student-athletes, many who have grown personally and professionally, gained a new network of peers and friends, as well as felt the rewards and importance of community service.
