    The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced the 2016 Division III PING All-America Team on June 21st with four total NCAC student-athletes recognized on the list.
  • Eight Student-Athletes Named Academic All-America

    Led by four first-team selections, eight NCAC student-athletes were named to the 2015-16 CoSIDA Academic All-America Division III At-Large Team, it was announced on Tuesday, June 7.
  • Tigers Take Third at NCAA Championships

    Eighth-ranked Wittenberg shot a final-round 311 and finished with a four-round total of 1,208 to finish in a tie for third at the NCAA Division III Championships at the Midvale Country Club in Penfield, N.Y.
  • Wittenberg Women Card Third at NCAAs

    The Wittenberg Tigers were among nine teams still on the course at Bay Oaks Country Club competing in the final round of the 2016 NCAA Division III Tournament when the horn sounded to signal inclement weather in the area, suspending play. Action never resumed, and the results at the conclusion of the third round were declared final.

    The North Coast Athletic Conference landed eight men's golfers on the Division III Ping All-Great Lakes Region team, it was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on May 9th.

  • Wittenberg Sweeps Men's & Women's Golf Titles

    The 2016 NCAC Golf Championship Series concluded on Sunday (5/1) at Wooster Country in Wooster, Ohio. Wittenberg captured its seventh-straight NCAC men's title with a 72-hole score of 1,178 (296-283-298-301), while the Wittenberg Tigers also picked up their second-straight NCAC women's title with a 72-hole score of 1,280 (310-308-333-329).

    The first event of the 2016 NCAC Golf Championships Series was contested last weekend, April 23-24, at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Streetsboro, Ohio, with Hiram serving as the host institution. Six-time defending NCAC men’s champion Wittenberg leads in the team standings following Event #1 with a 36-hole score of 579 (296-283), while the Wittenberg Tigers also lead in the women’s standings after the opening weekend of play with a two-day team total of 618 (310-308).

League squads will return to the links this week with six different events on the schedule, led by Denison hosting its annual Ted Barclay Invitational at the Denison Golf Club in Granville.

Several teams will continue spring break action this week, highlighted by DePauw squaring off against Arizona Christian on Thursday in Scottsdale.

League squads will continue competition in southern states in the week ahead, led by Kenyon competing at the Virginia Wesleyan Marlin Invitational at Elizabeth Manon Country Club in Portsmouth, Virginia, March 14-15.

Wooster is the lone women’s team in action this week as they are set to host the Hilton Head Collegiate on Thursday at Old South Golf Links in Bluffton, South Carolina.

The men’s teams will return to action in the spring, with Event I of the 2016 NCAC Championship series scheduled for April 23-24 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Streetsboro, Ohio, and Event II scheduled for Apr. 30 - May 1 at Wooster Country Club in Wooster, Ohio.
