Following pre-championship balloting by eight of the nine league coaches, Wittenberg has been tabbed as the favorites heading into the 2017 NCAC Men’s Golf Championship Series. The Tigers, who have won seven-straight league titles, collected eight first-place votes to top the poll with 72 total points. Ohio Wesleyan checked in at second with 61 points, followed by Kenyon (56), Allegheny (48), Denison (38), DePauw (36), Wooster (24), Wabash (16) and Hiram (9).

Sophomore Colin Laszlo (Waipahu, HI/Punahou) owns an 18-hole stroke average of 74.19 and has won a pair of individual titles this year at the Allegheny Guy W. Kuhn Memorial and the Wright State Invitational. The Tigers, who will once again be under the direction of head coach Jeff Roope, will also be looking to get production over the next two weekends from senior Mark David Wright (Westerville, OH/Tree of Life) and sophomore Isaac Hartley (Bellevue, OH/Bellevue).
