  • Denison Tabs Grogan Head Golf Coach

    GRANVILLE, Ohio-- Denison University Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Nan Carney-DeBord has named Lauren Grogan the new head men's and women's golf coach and assistant professor in health, exercise and sport studies. Grogan comes to Denison from Aquinas College in East Grand Rapids, Michigan where she has served as the head men's and women's golf coach since 2017.

    CRAWFORDSVILLE, IN -- Wabash College has named Tyler Schmutz as head coach of the school’s varsity golf program. He will begin his duties mid-June.
  • NCAC Makes Health & Wellness a Priority

    The North Coast Athletic Conference hosted its inaugural Health & Wellness Symposium focusing on the mental health of student-athletes, coaches, athletics staff and administrators, Monday, May 20 at Ohio Wesleyan University. More than 244 NCAC members attended multiple sessions throughout the day on a variety of topics, making it one of the largest NCAC non-championship events in our 35 year history.
  • 12 NCAC Student-Athletes Named Academic All-District

    The 2018-19 College of Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/Google Cloud Academic All-District® Men's & Women's At-Large Teams were released on May 16 with 12 student-athletes from the NCAC being named to the first team in the seventh district.
  • DePauw Finishes Fifth at NCAA Championships

    DePauw shot a final-round 312 and totaled 1,247 strokes, placing fifth overall at the 2019 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships at the Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas. New York University won the team title with a 1,217, just five-strokes ahead of national runner-up Williams College (1,222).

    Eight North Coast men's golf student-athletes were named to the PING All-Great Lakes Region Team, while one NCAC rookie was selected as a member of the Division III All-Freshman Team.
  • Wittenberg Wins 10th-Straight NCAC Men's Golf Title

    The 2019 NCAC Men’s Golf Championships concluded on Sunday at the par-72, 6,910-yard Westbrook C.C. in Mansfield, Ohio. The Wittenberg Tigers won their 10th-straight NCAC men’s golf title after topping day-one leader Ohio Wesleyan in the team standings by just nine strokes. Wittenberg finished the three-day event with a 36-hole score of 583 (302-281), while the Bishops posted a two-day score of 592 (291-301). As NCAC champions, the Tigers have earned the league’s automatic bid into the 2019 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championships, which will be contested at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, KY, May 14-17.
  • DePauw Wins Fifth NCAC Women's Golf Title

    The 2019 NCAC Women’s Golf Championships concluded on Sunday at the par-72, 5,800-yard Westbrook C.C. in Mansfield, Ohio. The DePauw Tigers won their league-leading fifth NCAC women’s golf title with a 36-hole score of 649 (329-320), while the Wittenberg Tigers finished second overall with a 653 (328-325). As NCAC champions, DePauw has earned the league’s automatic bid into the 2019 NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championships, which will be contested at the Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, TX, May 14-17.
  • Wittenberg Women & OWU Men Take Lead After Day 1

    The first 18 holes of the 2019 North Coast Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships were completed Saturday afternoon at Westbrook Country Club in Mansfield, Ohio. Ohio Wesleyan is leading the men after carding a 291, while Wittenberg currently sits atop the women’s leaderboard with a cumulative score of 328.

    CLEVELAND, Ohio – Eight North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) institutions appeared in the winter update of the 2018-19 Division III Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup standings. Kenyon College led the group, residing in 44th place with 239 points.
