The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced the NCAA Division III PING All-America Teams and the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) was represented by three Wittenberg student-athletes who were among 47 men's golfers recognized.
Tigers senior Colin Laszlo (Waipahu, HI/Punahou) and junior Cameron Willis (Eaton, OH/Eaton) were named to the GCAA All-America second team while junior Ryan Mallette (Canton, OH/Central Catholic) was tabbed an honorable mention selection. Laszlo and Mallete are making their second appearances on the All-America teams, both receiving honorable mention accolades last season.
As a team, Wittenberg won its 10th straight NCAC Championship this season. Willis was also crowned the Champion Medalist with a two-day score of 140 (72-68). At the NCAA Championships, Wittenberg came home sixth with a four-day score of 1198. Laszlo and Willis tied for 23rd while Mallette finished in a tie for 44th. All three were also tabbed to the PING All-Great Lakes Region team this season.
