Kenyon received the NCAC's automatic bid into the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament. The Lords will make their seventh-consecutive appearance in the national tournament, and 16th overall. The Battling Bishops have earned an at-large bid into the national tournament and will make their 41st NCAA appearance. Kenyon owns a 21-14-2 all-time record in the NCAA Tournament, while Ohio Wesleyan is 64-35-6 on the national stage.
DePauw senior Jay Klein (Wyoming, OH/Wyoming) was voted to the College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization on Thursday, Nov. 7. Klein will now move on to the ballot for Academic All-America consideration.
CLEVELAND, OH – The four-time defending North Coast Athletic Conference champion Kenyon Lords were tabbed as the favorites in the race for the 2019 men’s soccer championship according to preseason balloting by the league coaches. The Lords collected nine of 10 possible first-place votes and 99 points overall in the voting.
