    The Kenyon College men’s tennis team was eliminated form the 2014 NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Team Tournament in the third round after dropping a narrow 5-3 decision against Emory on Sunday, May 11, in Lexington, Virginia.
  • Kenyon Falls To Emory In NCAA Tournament

    After obtaining a quick advantage following doubles play, the Kenyon College men's tennis team dropped four out of five singles flights, allowing nationally-ranked Emory University to pull away with a 5-3 match win. Both teams hit the Washington & Lee University Outdoor Courts on Sunday morning to vie for the right to move beyond the regional section of the 2014 NCAA Division III Championships. The Eagles will now advance to the national tournament while the Lords' season comes to a close.

    The NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Committee announced Monday the 44 teams that will compete in the 2014 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship. For the 13th consecutive year, the Kenyon College Lords will be one of those teams.

    There is a full slate of NCAC divisional matches on the schedule as we enter the final week of the 2013-14 regular season. Following the completion of all divisional matches this weekend, the league’s seeding committee will meet on Sunday night and the official brackets for the 2014 NCAC Tennis Championships will be released next Monday, April 21. The 2014 NCAC Tennis Championships are set for April 25-27 at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.

    NCAC men’s tennis teams wrapped up the spring break portion of the 2013-14 schedule last week with DePauw and Oberlin competing in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The DPU Tigers (2-0, 11-4) went 4-0 in Hilton Head, before traveling to Atlanta, Georgia, over the weekend where they went 1-1 at the Emory Invitational. Action resumes across the league this week with 11 matches on the slate, led by an NCAC East bout between Allegheny (0-0, 7-4) and Kenyon (0-0, 11-6) on Thursday (4/3) and an NCAC West contest between Wabash (1-0, 8-10) and Wittenberg (0-1, 8-3) on Saturday (4/5).
