  • Denison Leads NCAC In Final Learfield Standings
    June 01, 2018
    Following the completion of the 2017-18 NCAA Division III competition season, four North Coast Athletic Conference schools ranked in the top-70 of the Learfield Directors' Cup standings, led by Denison finishing 44th out of 323 eligible institutions with 382.00 total points. Schools must have competed in an NCAA Championship event during the academic year in order to compile points in the standings.

    The dream season of the Wabash College tennis doubles team of William Reifeis (Indianapolis, IN/North Central) and Patrick McAuley (Indianapolis, IN/North Central) came to an end Saturday afternoon in Claremont, California with a straight sets loss to the number one seed in the semifinals of the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Doubles Championship Tournament.
  • Zalenski Bows Out Of NCAA Singles Tourney

    Kenyon sophomore Jacob Zalenski (Canton, OH/Jackson) kicked off his first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Singles Championship by winning three straight games. However, he could not maintain that momentum and dropped a first-round 6-4, 6-1 decision to Jack Katzman, a freshman from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
  • 10 Student-Athletes Named Academic All-District

    The 2017-18 College of Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/Google Cloud Academic All-District Men's & Women's At-Large Teams were released on May 17th with 10 student-athletes from the NCAC being named to the first team in the seventh district.

    Denison won two outright league titles in men's swimming & diving and women's lacrosse, shared the league title with Kenyon in field hockey and posted 14 additional top-five finishes during the 2017-18 academic year to win its league-leading 16th North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports Championship.

    The 13th-ranked Kenyon men’s tennis team wrapped up its season in the third round of the 2018 NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Championships with a 5-1 loss against No. 10 Washington (MO) on Saturday, May 12th at the Jasper Tennis Center in Gambier, Ohio.

    Kenyon College sophomore Jacob Zalenski (Canton, OH/Jackson) learned Wednesday that he was one of 32 players chosen to participate in the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Singles Tennis Championship, which will be held May 24-26 at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, California.
  • Lords Open NCAA Tennis Championships At Home

    The 13th-ranked Kenyon men’s tennis team has been selected as one of the host sites for the opening weekend of action in the 2018 NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Championships. The Lords secured their spot 43-team tournament after winning their 12th-straight NCAC title in Indianapolis in late April. The appearance in the NCAA Tournament is the Lords’ 17th-straight and 22nd overall.

  • Kenyon Claims 12th-Straight Men's Tennis Crown

    The 2018 NCAC Men's Tennis Championships concluded on Sunday afternoon at Barbara S. Wynne Tennis Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Kenyon men captured their 12th-straight and 21st overall league championship with a 5-2 victory over Denison in the championship match.

    NCAC men’s tennis teams will wrap up the conference portion of the 2018 season this week in preparation for the 2018 NCAC Men’s Tennis Championships, which will be held at North Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, April 27-29. Following the completion of all conference matches this weekend, the league’s seeding committee will meet on Sunday evening and the official bracket for the tournament will be released next Monday, April 23rd.

Several league teams will be in action this week on spring break trips, with Ohio Wesleyan traveling to Hilton Head, South Carolina, and the tandem of Kenyon and Wooster taking on non-conference opponents in central Florida.
