KALAMAZOO, MI – The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) had a pair of Kenyon Men's Tennis athletes in juniors Austin Diehl (O'Fallon, MO/Homeshooled) and Jacob Zalenski (Canton, OH/Jackson) compete at the NCAA Division III Singles Championship on Friday, May 24, in Kalamazoo, MI.

Diehl was matched up against Bowdoin's Yangeng Jiang and dropped the opening set, 6-0, marking the first time since the ITA Central Region Championship in September 2018, a span of 20 matches, that Diehl had not won a single game. In the second set, Diehl battled for three game victories but ultimately fell, 6-3.

After falling 6-4 in the first set, Zalenski split the match with a 6-1 win in the second set against Trinity's (TX) Wilson Lambeth. In the deccisive third set, Lambeth led 5-2 before Zalenski pulled the set to within 5-4. Looking to tie the set, Zalenski was on serve, but was broken and Lambeth prevailed, 6-4.
