FINALS & THIRD-PLACE: 

The 2019 NCAC Men's Tennis Championships concluded on Sunday afternoon at Barbara S. Wynne Tennis Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Kenyon men (18-3) captured their 13th-consecutive and 22nd overall league championship with a 6-1 victory over Denison (12-7) in the championship match. As league champions, the Lords will receive the league's automatic bid into the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Tournament.

Kenyon defeated eighth-seeded Wabash, 5-0, in the quarterfinals on Friday and advanced to the championship match with a 5-0 win over fourth-seeded Oberlin on Saturday afternoon. Denison mapped its way through the championship bracket with a 5-1 victory over seventh-seeded Wittenberg in the quarterfinals and a 5-1 win over third-seeded DePauw in the semifinals on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday's men's action also included DePauw defeating Oberlin, 5-3, in the third-place match, while Saturday's consolation matches featured sixth-seeded Wooster topping fifth-seeded Ohio Wesleyan, 5-3, in the fifth-place match and Wittenberg took seventh place with a 5-4 victory over Wabash. 

SEMIFINALS, FIFTH- & SEVENTH-PLACE:

The higher seeds held in the semifinals after day two of competition at the 2019 NCAC Men's Tennis Championships on Saturday.

In the semifinals match ups, top-seeded Kenyon claimed a 5-0 victory over fourth-seeded Oberlin and second-seeded Denison earned a 5-1 win over third-seeded DePauw. Sixth-seeded Wooster captured a 5-3 victory over fifth-seeded Ohio Wesleyan to claim fifth place in the tournament while seventh-seeded Wittenberg defeated eighth-seeded Wabash, 5-4, to take seventh-place.

On Sunday, No. 3 DePauw will compete against No. 4 Oberlin for third-place, while No. 1 Kenyon will meet No. 2 Denison in the finals. The NCAC Champion will earn the conference's automatic berth into the NCAA Division III tournament.  

QUARTERFINALS:

The higher seeds held after the first day of competition of the 2019 NCAC Men's Tennis Championships on Friday.

In the quarterfinals, top-seeded Kenyon claimed a 5-0 victory over eighth-seeded Wabash, while second-seeded Denison earned a 5-1 win over seventh-seeded Wittenberg, third-seeded DePauw defeated sixth-seeded Wooster, 5-2, and fourth-seeded Oberlin recorded a 5-0 victory over fifth-seeded Ohio Wesleyan.

In the semifinals on Saturday, No. 1 Kenyon will compete against No. 4 Oberlin and No. 2 Denison will take on No. 3 DePauw. Other matches on the day will include No. 5 Ohio Wesleyan playing No. 6 Wooster in the fifth-place match while No. 7 Wittenberg and No. 8 Wabash will compete for seventh-place.

On Sunday, the non-advancing semifinal teams will compete for third-place, while the winners of the semifinals will meet in the finals with the winner earning the NCAC's automatic berth into the NCAA Division III tournament. 

PAIRINGS:

The 2019 NCAC Men's Tennis Championships will be held next weekend, April 26-28, at North Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. The tournament begins with quarterfinal matches on Friday, semifinal and fifth- and seventh-place matches on Saturday and the championship and third-place matches on Sunday. The first two days will begin with women’s matches at 9:00 a.m. and conclude with men’s matches at 1:00 p.m. The women’s championship match and third-place match will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, while the men’s championship match and third-place match will be played at 1:00 p.m. 

The Kenyon Lords (3-0, 15-3) will be the No. 1 seed in the men’s tournament and will open play on Friday afternoon against eighth-seeded Wabash (0-4, 8-13), while second-seeded Denison (4-0, 10-6) will meet No. 7 Wittenberg (1-3, 11-8). In the other two opening round matches, No. 3 DePauw (3-1, 9-9) will take on No. 6 Wooster (1-2, 7-12), while No. 4 Oberlin (2-1, 8-11) will meet up with No. 5 Ohio Wesleyan (2-2, 14-13).
