2017-18 CoSIDA/Google Cloud Academic All-District Cross Country/Track & Field Team

Men --- Women

The 2017-18 College of Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/Google Cloud Academic All-District Men's & Women's Cross Country/Track & Field Teams were released on May 29th with five student-athletes from the NCAC being named to a first team.

Three of the five honorees were male student-athletes, including Allegheny senior John Hughes (Cold Spring, NY/Haldane) being a first-team selection in District IV. Along with Hughes, Wooster senior Geoffrey Carney-Knisley (South Burlington, VT/Rice Memorial) and Kenyon junior Jordan Potter (Minneapolis, MN/The Blake School) were both named to the first team in District VII.

On the women's side, a pair of Oberlin senior student-athletes were first-team selections in District VII, including Lilah Drafts-Johnson (Melrose, MA/Melrose) and Monique Newton (Sacramento, CA/Rancho Cordova).

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot, with first- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees to be announced in June.

The Division II and III Google Cloud Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures, to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2017-18 DII and DIII Academic All-America® teams.
