Three Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

2018-19 Academic All-District Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams 

The 2018-19 College of Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/Google Cloud Academic All-District® Men's & Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams were released on Tuesday, May 28, and three North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) representatives were on the list of honorees.

DePauw senior Paul Christian (Glen Ellyn, IL/Glenbard West) tallied a 3.88 cumulative GPA as a Performance Music major, as the lone men's representative. A pair of Allegheny women were also named to the All-District list. Senior Emily Forner (Beaver, PA/Beaver Area) compiled a 3.77 cumulative GPA as a Global Health Studies major, while Gator junior Tori Valachovic (McDonald, PA/South Fayette) owns a 3.97 cumulative GPA as a Biochemistry major. 

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June. 

The Google Cloud Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the above links and are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada.

The Division II and III Google Cloud Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2018-19 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA Google Cloud Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
