DePauw University senior Maya Howard (St. Louis, MO/MICDS) added two more awards to her stellar resume as she was named an honorable-mention All-American by both the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and D3hoops.com.
Howard was previously named to the D3hoops.com All-Great Lakes first team on March 11, her second selection in as many years. The senior was second on the team with 15.1 points per game and led with 3.9 assists and 1.6 steals in 2018-19. The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Player of the Year for the second straight season finished her DePauw career as the program's all-time leading scorer with 1,539 points and set the school record for free throws made with 363. Her 342 assists rank sixth in school history as do her 183 steals.
Howard was also invited to be part of the WBCA All-Star Game which took place on March 16 in Salem, Virginia.
