Goodspeed Earns IWLCA All-America Honors

IWLCA All-America Teams

The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse All-American teams on Monday, June 10, and Denison senior Jane Goodspeed (East Grand Rapids, MI/East Grand Rapids) was tabbed to the second team.

Goodspeed picked up her second IWLCA All-America nod after receiving third-team honors last season. The senior anchored the Big Red defense this season, registering 77 groundballs, 169 draw controls and 52 caused turnovers, leading Denison in all three categories. Goodspeed finished her career with 371 draw controls and 151 caused turnovers in a Big Red uniform. She owns the program all-time records for draw controls and caused turnovers for a game, season and career. She is also a four-time All-NCAC first-team selection, four-time All-Region first-team honoree and two-time NCAC Defensive Player of the Year.

The NCAA Division III Player of the Year will be announced on Thursday, June 13, at 5 p.m.
