NCAC Makes Health & Wellness a Priority

The North Coast Athletic Conference hosted its inaugural Health & Wellness Symposium focusing on the mental health of student-athletes, coaches, athletics staff and administrators, Monday, May 20 at Ohio Wesleyan University. More than 244 NCAC members attended multiple sessions throughout the day on a variety of topics, making it one of the largest NCAC non-championship events in our 35 year history.

Denison's Heher honored by IWLCA

GRANVILLE, Ohio – Senior Maddy Heher was recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on Wednesday afternoon as the recipient of the 2019 Division III Community Awareness Award. She was joined by Delaware's Maggie McCarthy (Division I) and Amanda Dickerson of Pace University (Division II).

The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has announced its All-Region teams for 2019. Of the 256 overall student-athletes in Division III honored, the North Coast Athletic Conference had 11 student-athletes earn first or second team accolades in the All-Great Lakes Region.

Denison Falls at Gettysburg in NCAA Tournament

Women's Lacrosse

Denison women's lacrosse suffered a 14-3 loss on Saturday afternoon to No. 1 Gettysburg in the third round of the NCAA Division III Tournament at Clark Field. The Big Red finished the 2019 season at 16-5 overall, while the Bullets will advance to the quarterfinal round on Sunday and take on the winner of the Wesleyan (CT) vs. Washington & Lee matchup.
