    The Wittenberg volleyball duo of junior middle hitter Emily Kahlig (Coldwater, OH/Coldwater) and junior outside hitter Kara Seidenstricker (London, OH/Jonathan Alder) were named to the 2015 Academic All-District Team, it was announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on November 5th.

    As we enter the final week of the 2015 NCAC volleyball season, nationally-ranked Wittenberg (7-0, 20-2) has clinched at least a share of its 21st conference title and can claim the title outright with a victory over DePauw (5-2, 16-7) on Tuesday night in Indiana. The Tigers have also clinched the hosting rights for the 2015 NCAC Tournament, which will be held in Springfield, Nov. 6-7. The final seeds for the eight-team tournament will be announced on Wednesday night following the completion of the conference portion of the regular season schedule.

There are eight total NCAC matches on the schedule this week, led by DePauw traveling to Ohio Wesleyan on Thursday night and Denison traveling to DePauw on Saturday afternoon.

The race remains tight for places 2-4 in the standings as three teams currently sit with one conference loss, including Denison (2-1, 10-8), DePauw (3-1, 13-5) and Ohio Wesleyan. One of those teams will receive their second league loss of the season this week as Ohio Wesleyan is set to host Denison in Delaware on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.

League squads return to the court for non-conference action this week, highlighted by Wittenberg hosting DePauw (5-3) and a grouping of local non-conference teams for its annual Fall Classic.
