Wittenberg (29-3) capped off its magical 2015 season as the national runners-up following a 3-0 loss against Cal Lutheran in the championship match of the NCAA Division III Women’s Volleyball Championships on Saturday night at Van Noord Arena on the campus of Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

She was joined on the All-Tournament team by junior outside hitter Camila Quinones (Sunbury, OH/Worthington Christian) who compiled 21 kills and nine total blocks in Michigan.

Cal Lutheran claimed its first national title with a 3-1 victory over Bowdoin in the quarterfinals and a 3-2 win over Carthage in the national semifinals.

Wittenberg has a total of eight runner-up finishes in its rich athletics history - four in men’s basketball, two in football and one each in women’s golf and women’s volleyball. Wittenberg teams have won five NCAA Tournament titles - two in football, two in men’s basketball and the 2011 women’s volleyball championship.
