NCAC Makes Health & Wellness a Priority
May 24, 2019The North Coast Athletic Conference hosted its inaugural Health & Wellness Symposium focusing on the mental health of student-athletes, coaches, athletics staff and administrators, Monday, May 20 at Ohio Wesleyan University. More than 244 NCAC members attended multiple sessions throughout the day on a variety of topics, making it one of the largest NCAC non-championship events in our 35 year history. -
Eight NCAC Institutions Ranked in Learfield Standings
March 28, 2019CLEVELAND, Ohio – Eight North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) institutions appeared in the winter update of the 2018-19 Division III Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup standings. Kenyon College led the group, residing in 44th place with 239 points. -
NCAC Ranks Seven in Fall Directors' Cup Standings
December 20, 2018CLEVELAND, Ohio – Seven North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) institutions appeared in the final fall update of the 2018-19 Division III Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup standings. DePauw University led the group, sitting in 45th place overall with 104 points. -
Wildemann & Peters Named Academic All-Americans
December 12, 2018AUSTIN, Texas -- The 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Volleyball Team was released on Wednesday, Dec. 12. Wittenberg’s Karen Wildemann (Columbus, Ind./North) was recognized as a first-team member and DePauw’s Suzanne Peters (Fort Wayne, Ind./Homestead) was tabbed to the third-team. -
Wittenberg Names Carus Head Volleyball Coach
November 21, 2018SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- Evelyn Carus, who served as the interim women’s volleyball coach at Wittenberg University this season, has officially been named the program’s next head coach, as announced by Director of Athletics & Recreation, Dr. Gary Williams, on Wednesday, November 21st. -

November 15, 2018CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Volleyball Team for Division III was released on Thursday, Nov. 15. Wittenberg’s Karen Wildemann (Columbus, Ind./North) and DePauw’s Suzanne Peters (Fort Wayne, Ind./Homestead) were both recognized as first-team members. -
Five NCAC Athletes Named to AVCA All-America Teams
November 13, 2018The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its 38th annual AVCA All-America teams for NCAA Division III Women’s Volleyball on Tuesday, Nov. 13. Five North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) players were selected to the teams. Wittenberg’s Aubrey Cox (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecanoe) and Karen Wildemann (Columbus, Ind./North) were named to the second team while DePauw’s Suzanne Peters (Fort Wayne, Ind./Homestead) was named to the third team. Wittenberg also had Kennedey Schmidt (Englewood, Ohio/Northmont) and Taylor Yontz (Springfield, Ohio/Shawnee) named All-America Honorable Mention. -
Six Named to 2018 AVCA All-Region Squad

November 03, 2018Top-seeded Wittenberg (23-2) captured its conference-leading 24th NCAC Volleyball Tournament Title on Saturday, November 3, with a 3-0 victory over third-seeded Hiram (23-5) in the championship match. -

September 04, 2018Founded in 1983, the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) is made up of ten academically selective colleges and universities - Allegheny College, DePauw University, Denison University, Hiram College, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, Ohio Wesleyan University, Wabash College, Wittenberg University and the College of Wooster, along with affiliate member, Earlham College (field hockey). The NCAC sponsors 23 championship sports, 11 for men and 12 for women. Each week, the NCAC celebrates individuals who demonstrated exceptional performances in their selected sport. The following individuals have been selected athletes of the week for the week of Aug. 27-Sept. 3. -
