Hiram senior outside hitter Marissa Jay closed out the regular season by leading the Terriers to a perfect 5-0 record, which included a 4-0 record over the weekend at the Houghton (NY) Tournament. In five total matches on the week, Jay amassed 85 kills against just 15 hitting errors for a .400 hitting percentage. She also logged four double-double performances on the week, led by a 25-kill, 14-dig effort in a 3-1 victory over SUNY-Cortland on Saturday.

Ohio Wesleyan right-side hitter Shelby Ksiazek posted a pair of double-digit kill performances last week to lead the Bishops in a pair of 3-1 wins over Mount Union and Hiram. In the two wins combined, Ksiazek paced the OWU offense with 33 kills and just three hitting errors in 67 total attempts for a .448 hitting percentage. In 11 sets on the week, Ksiazek accumulated 39 kills, 12 blocks and six total digs.

Oberlin senior Meredith Leung reached a pair of career milestones in leading the Yeowomen to victories last week over Franciscan, 3-2, and Thiel, 3-0. In the win over Franciscan on Friday, she logged her third double-double of the season with 31 set assists and 10 digs. In 12 total sets on the week, she accumulated 76 set assists and 27 digs to surpass 3,000-career set assists and 1,000-career digs.

Hiram senior outside hitter Marissa Jay helped guide the Terriers to a perfect 3-0 record last week with three-straight double-double performances. In 11 total sets on the week, Jay accumulated 56 kills and 52 digs, which included a 17-kill, 14-dig effort in the Terriers’ 3-1 league victory over Denison on Saturday. Her best match of the week came in Thursday’s 3-1 non-conference win over Geneva when she tallied 22 kills and scooped up 25 digs.

Kenyon sophomore outside hitter Delaney Swanson once again provided versatility on the court in two key league wins last week for the Ladies against Ohio Wesleyan, 3-0, and Hiram, 3-2. In eight total sets on the week, she totaled 36 kills, 30 digs and five blocks, which included a 21-kill, 15-dig performance in Saturday’s thrilling five-set victory over visiting Hiram.

Denison junior middle hitter Leah Reinfranck paced the Big Red offense last week in a pair of 3-2 victories over Heidelberg and NCAC-rival Kenyon. In the win over Heidelberg, she smashed 13 kills in 23 attempts with just two errors for a .478 hitting percentage, before posting a career-high 24 kills and just three errors in 42 attempts against the Ladies for a .500 hitting percentage. Reinfranck currently ranks third in the NCAC in hitting percentage (.326) and fourth overall in kills (178).

Wittenberg junior outside hitter Maddie Fischer played a vital role in leading the Tigers to a pair of top-25 wins last weekend at the Tigers’ own Fall Invitational, which included a 3-1 victory over No. 1 Cal Lutheran in a re-match of the 2015 national championship match. Fischer finished the three matches against nationally-ranked teams with 42 kills, 20 digs, six aces and six blocks in 12 total sets, which included a 21-kill effort in the Tigers’ 3-1 victory over No. 22 Elmhurst.

Kenyon sophomore outside hitter Delaney Swanson helped the Ladies to a 3-2 record last week with 57 kills, 60 digs, nine aces and two blocks. She was named to the Bluffton Sommer Center Spiketacular all-tournament team after combining for 53 kills, 58 digs and eight aces in three KC matches, which included a 21-kill, 24-dig performance in the Ladies’ 3-1 win over Geneva on Friday night. She also added 18 kills, 15 digs and four aces in a 3-1 victory over Thomas More in the very next match.

DePauw junior Keegan Kollias shined in the starting setter role for the Tigers at last weekend’s Baden Invitational at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. The junior finished the four-match event with 148 set assists, 37 digs and 17 kills, which included handing out 36 set assists and tallying seven digs in DPU’s 3-1 upset victory over No. 6 Washington (MO). It marked DPU’s first-ever victory over the Bears.  Kollias, who was named to the all-tournament team, also contributed six blocks and three service aces in 14 total sets over the weekend.
