There was just one NCAC school in action last weekend on the cross country circuit as Denison made the trip to New England for the Williams College Purple Valley Classic in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Both teams finished 22nd in their respective team standings against several of the nation’s top teams. There are three events on the NCAC schedule this weekend, highlighted by the six Ohio-based schools traveling to Cedarville, Ohio, for the 2017 All-Ohio Championships.

DENISON saw both of its squads finish 22nd out of 27 teams on Saturday at the Williams College Purple Valley Classic, hosted at Mt. Greylock High School in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The men’s squad earned 638 total points, led by sophomore Benjamin Foster (Westport, CT/Staples) finishing 84th overall with an 8k time of 27:58.1, while the women’s team tallied 647 points with sophomore Erin O’Connor (Bethesda, MD/Walt Whitman) leading the way in 107th with a 6k time of 25:06.1.

ALLEGHENY, DEPAUW, KENYON, OBERLIN, OHIO WESLEYAN, WABASH, WITTENBERG and WOOSTER were all idle last weekend.
