Oberlin sophomore Eva Lopez helped guide the Yeowomen to a 3-0 week with wins over Capital (6-1), DePauw (4-3), and Wittenberg (7-0). Playing at No. 4 singles throughout, Lopez opened with a 6-4, 6-0 victory in the win over Capital, also teaming with classmate Scarlett Kingston (Bayport, NY/Bayport-Blue Point) for a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles. She then delivered the match-clinching point in the win over DePauw, rallying for a three-set victory (2-6, 6-0, 6-4), before closing with a 6-0, 6-2 win in the sweep of Wittenberg. The victories helped Oberlin reach 10 wins for the first time since 2021-22.
