Kenyon senior center Claudia Cooke had a record-breaking game, leading the Owls to a 70-64 victory at Defiance on Tuesday. Cooke recorded a career-high 35 points and set single-game program records at the free throw line. The senior established new standards with 21 free throws made and 22 free throws attempted (.955 percent). From the field, the senior was 7-of-10 and surpassed her previous best single-game output of 24 points, set last season at Wooster. Cooke's 35 points also went down as the sixth-best single-game scoring mark in program history. Cooke also racked up seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal against the Yellowjackets.
