Wooster junior guard Jamir Billings averaged 15.3 points, 6.0 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.8 steals during a 3-1 stretch for the Fighting Scots. At the Steve Moore Sunshine Classic, Billings led the Scots to a 93-90 tournament title win over Saint Joseph (CT) with a season-high 22 points to go along with eight rebounds, seven assists and two steals. The junior followed with another 22-point performance in an 84-61 win over Edgewood in the E.M. "Mose" Hole/Wooster Kiwanis Classic. He capped the four-game stretch with his program-best seventh career game with at least 10 assists in a tough loss to John Carroll. Billings was named the defensive MVP of the Steve Moore Sunshine Classic, the tournament's highest honor, and also moved up to third all-time in program history in steals.
