Oberlin junior point guard Yuuki Okubo guided the Yeomen to a pair of NCAC victories over Hiram (81-59) and Ohio Wesleyan (72-63). Okubo secured his first double-double of the year after scoring 11 points and dishing out 11 assists to go along with four steals and one rebound in the Yeomen’s win over the Terriers. On Saturday against the Battling Bishops, the point guard handed out eight assists, earned three steals, netted four points and gathered one rebound. For the week, Okubo averaged 9.5 assists, 7.5 points and 3.5 steals, while going 5-for-6 at the line.
