Ohio Wesleyan senior guard Kasey Schipfer and the Battling Bishops recorded wins over Denison (63-61) and DePauw (74-64) to move up to second in NCAC standings. Against the Big Red, Schipfer led the Bishops with 21 points, to go along with five rebounds, two assists, and seven steals, one of which came in the last 16 seconds of play which set up the game-winning fast-break lay-up. The guard then recorded a game-high 28 points and 12 rebounds against the Tigers after going 9-for-13 from the field and 9-for-10 from the line. On the week, Schipfer averaged 24.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and four steals per game.
