Oberlin first-year Kyle Baxt hit .526 (10-for-19) with two home runs, one double, five RBI, and three scored runs, while going error-free in the field with 25 putouts and one assist as the Yeomen went 2-2 on the week. In a two-game split with Wooster, Baxt went 9-for-11 with one home run, one double, two RBI and two runs scored. Baxt's efforts helped the Yeomen defeat the Scots for the first time since April 1, 2017. Earlier in the week in a two-game split with Maryville in Tennessee, the rookie produced a home run and three RBI.
