Denison senior Sophia Ellerkmann broke the program record in the 400-meter dash at the Tennessee Invite this weekend. Ellerkmann finished 10th with a time of 56.30 seconds, breaking the previous record of 56.55 set by Jill Westerfeld in 2001. With that time, the senior currently ranks first in the conference and fourth in Division III. Additionally, Ellerkman sits in third in the league standings after she finished 37th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.91.
