Hiram junior Darian Kanno earned wins over Denison (8-2) and Ohio Wesleyan (9-1) last week. In the win over the Big Red, Kanno pitched five innings and struck out 11-of-21 batters faced. The junior now has four career games with double-digit strikeouts, which extends her program record. Against the Battling Bishops, Kanno struck out eight over five innings to earn the win and keep the Terriers unbeaten in conference play. Over Kanno’s 10 innings pitched, she allowed just six hits, two earned runs, five walks, and one extra base.
