Wabash senior Joe Barnett placed 23rd out of 389 runners competing in the men’s silver division of the 2023 Louisville Cross Country Classic held at the E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky. Barnett completed the 8,000-meter loop in 26:25.9 for his fastest time of the season and six seconds off his career-best effort. His performance helped Wabash to finish second out of 48 teams competing in the silver division race.
