Ohio Wesleyan fifth-year Kasey Schipfer led the Battling Bishops to a 2-0 week with wins over Muskingum (91-58) and Heidelberg (87-42). Against the Fighting Muskies, Schipfer scored 10 points in the first quarter as OWU built a 31-12 lead to start the game. The 31 points tied the program record set on March 6, 2021, against Wooster. The fifth-year led the Bishops with 23 points and eight rebounds to go along with two assists and one steal. In the win over The Berg, Schipfer went 7-for-10 from the floor and 3-for-3 from the charity stripe to lead OWU with 17 points. The Mechanicsburg, Ohio native also recorded nine rebounds, two assists, and three steals in the victory. On the week, she averaged 20.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game, while shooting 60 percent from the floor (15-for-25).
