Wooster senior Ashton Price dropped a career-high 29 points in the Fighting Scots’ conference opening win (92-80) over previously unbeaten Oberlin on Saturday. In the victory, the senior hit a key three-point shot with 1:25 remaining in regulation to increase Wooster’s lead to seven points. Price went 9-for-15 from the field, shooting 60 percent, and added three assists, two rebounds, and one steal. With his 29 points, he surpassed the 1,000 collegiate points mark.
