DePauw junior Finley Buelte competed in the No. 1 singles and doubles flights during a three-match week for the Tigers. Despite dropping three doubles matches, Buelte recorded impressive play in singles. In a matchup with Division I Butler’s Nicolas Arts, the junior was leading 7-5, 5-2 prior to the team match reaching a decision. The junior lost a hard-fought 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 match to Emil Grantcharov of No. 1-ranked Chicago and then bounced back with a 7-6 (8-6), 6-4 victory over junior Jacob Patterson (Bridgeville, PA/South Fayette) of No. 6 Denison.
