Wabash senior Brayden Curnutt broke the school record in the 3,000-meter run at the Fairgrounds Invitational, finishing in 8:22.22. The senior outraced a field of 21 runners from NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA programs, winning the event by more than a second. His time surpassed the previous Wabash record of 8:27.18, set by Nick Boyce in 2015. Curnutt’s converted time of 8:28.05 currently ranks first in the conference.
