Kenyon first-year Charlie Blackmer competed at the All-Ohio Championships on Saturday and secured first place in the mile with a season-best time of 4:20.69. The rookie's victory came with a margin of more than a second ahead of second place, and he now ranks third in the NCAC with that time. Blackmer also placed third in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:59.04, finishing just over a second behind the leader.
