Denison senior Sydney Silverstein went 2-0 on the week, recording a pair of shutouts to tie the Denison and NCAC single-season record with eight. The senior worked 12 scoreless innings over two starts, giving up just nine hits and striking out seven. Silverstein posted a five-inning, five-hit shutout with two strikeouts in a 13-0 win over Marietta, and then tossed a seven-inning, four-hit shutout with five strikeouts in a 4-0 win at Wooster on Saturday.
