Wittenberg sophomore forward Sarah Deaton recorded her first career collegiate hat trick in a 4-2 win over Asbury on Saturday. Deaton netted the first goal of the game in the seventh minute to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead through the remainder of the half. The sophomore then found the back of the net in the 57th minute for the 2-0 lead, before completing the hat-trick in the 72nd minute to put Wittenberg up 3-1. Deaton totaled six shots, four of which were on goal, and helped the Tigers log their first win of the season.
