Oberlin senior Leo Powers made an early-season statement at the Oberlin Early Invite, breaking a school record and collecting multiple top-three finishes. The senior set a new program record in the 100 individual medley with a time of 52.48, while also placing third in the 100 butterfly (50.85) and eighth in the 200 IM (1:58.22). He contributed to four top-three relay performances as well, helping Oberlin to second-place finishes in the 200- (1:25.40) and 800- (7:05.86) free relays, along with third-place efforts in the 400 medley (3:29.21) and 400 free (3:10.71) relays.
