Wittenberg sophomore setter Mary Sulfridge recorded a match-leading 52 assists in the Tigers’ five-set victory over No. 20 Otterbein on Saturday. Her performance ranks fourth in program history for assists in a single match, regardless of match length. Sulfridge distributed 13 assists in the first set, 11 in the second, 10 in the third, 11 in the fourth, and eight in the decisive fifth set, including back-to-back assists to secure the 16-14 final. The setter also added two kills, 12 digs, and two blocks while averaging 10.4 assists per set in the win.
