Denison sophomore Emery Kurth turned in a strong performance in the long jump at the Steemer Showcase. Kurth recorded a mark of 5.39 meters to place fourth out of 40 competitors. Her jump currently ranks second in both the NCAC this season and in Denison program history, while helping the Big Red finish ninth in a 21-team field.
