DePauw junior guard Caleb Washington delivered a clutch week as the Tigers went 2-0 with a win at Wittenberg (61-56) and an overtime victory at home against Oberlin (75-66). Washington scored 16 points in each contest, including the game-tying basket with 0.3 seconds remaining to force overtime against the Yeomen, before adding five of DePauw’s 14 points in the extra period. He also grabbed five rebounds in both games, recorded one block and one assist versus Wittenberg and dished out three assists against Oberlin. Washington finished the week shooting 50 percent from the field (10-for-20) and 92 percent from the free-throw line (11-of-12).
