DePauw first-year Will Hutchinson went 1-1 in singles action and 2-1 in doubles play as the Tigers picked up a 7-0 win over Rose-Hulman and fell to No. 5 Case Western Reserve (0-7) and No. 2 UChicago (1-6) last week. At the No. 5 flight in singles, the first-year earned the Tigers’ lone point against the Maroons with a three-set victory, 7-6 (7-5), 6-3, after dropping his singles matchup against the Spartans, 6-3, 6-1. In doubles, Hutchinson teamed with fellow rookie Paul Castleman (St. Louis, MO/Webster Groves) at the No. 3 flight and posted 6-3 wins over both UChicago and Rose-Hulman, with the duo’s lone setback coming against Case Western (6-4).
