Wooster senior first baseman Ryan Kramer turned in a dominant weekend at Oglethorpe, helping the Fighting Scots to a 2-1 series record. Kramer slashed .700/.800/1.700 over three games, finishing 7-for-10 with three home runs, 11 RBI, eight runs scored, and four walks. He opened the weekend with a 2-for-4 performance with two runs and a double in a tough 11-7 loss before hitting 3-for-4 with seven RBI, which was one RBI shy of the program’s first eight-RBI game since 2010 in a 14-1 night-cap win. Kramer capped the series by reaching base safely in all five plate appearances, going 2-for-2 while hitting one home run, drawing three walks and driving in four runs in a 9-7 victory.
