Wooster senior attackman Lane Kellogg powered the Fighting Scots to a 2-0 opening week with a record-setting offensive performance. Kellogg averaged 8.0 assists, 3.0 goals and 2.5 ground balls per game in wins over Hiram (25-3) and Adrian (23-8). He opened the season by breaking Wooster single-game program records with 10 assists and 13 points in the win over the Terriers. He then followed with six assists and three goals in the victory over the Bulldogs. Kellogg also reached the 125-goal milestone for his career, becoming the fourth player in program history to do so and the first since the mid-1990s, and now ranks fourth all-time at Wooster with 225 career points.
