John Carroll first-year Brett Krugman powered the Blue Streaks to a 2-0 week with wins over RIT (12-10) and Mount Union (7-5). On the week, the third baseman hit .444 with four hits in nine at-bats, scoring three runs and driving in eight RBI. Krugman belted two home runs, including a three-run, go-ahead blast in the eighth inning against RIT, and finished with a 1.222 slugging percentage. He also drove in the eventual game-winning run against Mount Union.
