Wooster sophomore second baseman Luke Rizzo had a dominant offensive production at the plate as the Fighting Scots went 5-0 on the week. In three games played, Rizzo hit .778 with seven hits in nine at-bats, scoring eight runs and driving in eight RBI while posting a 2.444 slugging percentage and .833 on-base percentage. He belted four home runs and recorded six extra-base hits on the week, homering in each game and tallying multiple hits in every appearance. Rizzo opened the week going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and a homer in a 14-4 win over La Roche before going 3-for-3 with two home runs, a double, four runs scored, and two RBI in a 13-3 victory over Illinois Tech. He closed the week with another homer, a triple, four RBI, and two runs scored in an 11-3 win over Elmhurst.
