DePauw junior third baseman Grady Johnson turned in a huge week at the plate, helping lead the Tigers with a dominant offensive performance in a 3-1 week. Johnson batted .722 (13-for-18), scoring five runs and driving in 10 RBI while posting a 1.333 slugging percentage and .727 on-base percentage. He recorded at least one hit in all four contests and collected three or more hits in three games during the week. Johnson’s biggest impact came in DePauw’s doubleheader sweep at Wooster (10-6, 18-12), where he went a combined 8-for-10 with four runs scored, nine RBI, one double, two triples, two home runs and two walks. In game two against the Scots, he matched a career high with six RBI and set a new career best with two home runs.
