Men’s Basketball of the Week – Jack Clement, Ohio Wesleyan
Ohio Wesleyan senior Jack Clement (Bellefontaine, OH/Bellefontaine) helped lift the Battling Bishops to a 67-65 victory over Capital last week, sinking a pair of game-winning free throws with one second remaining in regulation. In the two-point victory, Clement finished with a career-high 36 points to go along with two steals and one rebound. On the week, the senior compiled 65 points (32.5 ppg), four rebounds (2.0 rpg), three steals (1.5 spg) and one blocked shot (0.5 bpg) across two games.
 
Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week – Maddie Goodman, Denison
Denison sophomore Maddie Goodman (Delaware, OH/Olentangy Berlin) helped guide the Big Red to a 2-1 week with wins over Franciscan and Maryville (TN) last week. After averaging 9.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists across a pair of games at the Pat Deacon Classic, Goodman was named to the All-Tournament Team. The sophomore finished the week averaging 10.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 blocked shots per game.
