Men’s Basketball Athlete of the Week – Trey Killens, Wittenberg
Wittenberg junior guard
Trey Killens (Cincinnati, OH/Mason) had an impressive opening weekend as the Tigers tallied wins over Covenant (75-50) and Bob Jones University (66-58). Against Covenant, Killens scored a game-high 23 points to go along with seven rebounds and four assists. He hit 9-of-12 from the field, including 4-of-5 from long distance in 32 minutes of action. Against Bob Jones, he finished with a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds, in addition to four assists.
Women’s Basketball Volleyball Athlete of the Week – Angela Kumler, Oberlin
Oberlin sophomore
Angela Kumler (New Concord, OH/John Glennn) played a large role in helping the Yeowomen claim the Brandies Judges Invitational Championship with wins over Kean (80-72) and Brandeis (77-46). The forward earned tournament MVP honors after her impressive efforts. Against Kean, Kumler recorded a career-high 18 points to go along with six rebounds, five steals, four assists, and three blocks. In the championship final, Kulmer scored 10 points to accompany four boards, two assists, and a block.
Offensive Football Athlete of the Week – Nathan McCahill, DePauw
DePauw junior
Nathan McCahill (Indianapolis, IN/Cathedral) guided the Tigers to a 33-30 double-overtime win over Wabash in the 129th Monon Bell game. The quarterback completed 23-of-30 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns. McCahill also ran the ball three times for 45 yards and a 15-yard touchdown. Defensive Football Athlete of the Week – Ethan Lowry (Indianapolis, IN/Heritage Christian)
DePauw senior
Ethan Lowry (Indianapolis, IN/Herritage Christian) had a huge impact on the Tigers’ winning efforts (33-30, 2OT) in the 129th Monon Bell game against Wabash. The nose tackle blocked a Little Giant field goal attempt in the first overtime that forced the game into a second overtime and gave the Tigers a chance to win. Lowry also recorded two tackles.
Men’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week – Callum Glover, Wooster
Wooster sophomore
Callum Glover (Houston, TX/Stratford) was a quadruple winner in the Fighting Scots' 201-95 win over Westminster on Saturday. Glover was a relay staple, anchoring the winning 200 medley (1:40.46) and 200 freestyle (1:30.17) relays. Individually, Glover took top honors in the 50 free (22.08) and 100 butterfly (54.36).
Women’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week – Ollie Bream, Wooster
Wooster junior
Ollie Bream (Melbourne, Australia/Firbank Grammar School) broke the Timken Natatorium record that stood since 2012 with a winning 100 butterfly time of 59.15 in Saturday's 209-78 win over Westminster. Bream also won the 50 freestyle (25.56) and helped the 200 medley (1:53.41) and 200 free (1:44.00) relays to first-place finishes.
NCAC Milestones & Records (Nov. 6 – Nov. 12)
Denison, Football – Senior running back
Trey Fabrocini (Lancaster, OH/Fisher Catholic) finished with 29 rushes for 118 yards and two touchdowns and added three receptions for 28 yards during Denison's 29-26 win over Ohio Wesleyan on Senior Day. Fabrocini's two rushing touchdowns brought his season total to 19, the second most in a single season in program history and just one off the record of 20 rushing touchdowns in one season that he set last year. He graduates as the Big Red’s career leading in rushing touchdowns with 50.
Kenyon, Football – Junior quarterback and punter
Park Penrod (Pittsburgh, PA/Avonworth) put together a career-best performance to help Kenyon secure a victory in its season finale, tallying three of the Owls’ five touchdowns. The junior completed 12 passes for 179 yards, good for nearly 15 yards per completion, and tossed two touchdowns, all career-best aerial totals. He also carried the ball 12 times, adding a score on the ground and contributing 52 of the Owls' 175 rushing yards. Cole Garrison (Ashland, OH/Ashland) garnered a career-best performance in the final game of his career, helping the Owls orchestrate a season-ending win. The senior set a career-high of 3.5 tackles for loss and two sacks while tying his personal highwater mark with five tackles and registering a pair of quarterback hurries. Garrison led the way for a defense that racked up Owls’ season highs of 13 tackles for loss and seven sacks and even scored a defensive touchdown while conceding just 10 points.
Ohio Wesleyan, Women’s Basketball – The Battling Bishops scored 31 points during the third quarter of its season opener at Defiance on Wednesday, breaking the school record of 28 set at Hiram on March 21, 2021 … OWU’s 101 points on the night marked the first time that Ohio Wesleyan surpassed the 100-point mark in a road game since Feb. 18, 1995, when the Bishops won by a 103-34 count at Oberlin … Ohio Wesleyan allowed only two points during the third quarter of its win over Pitt-Greensburg on Friday, breaking the school record of 4 set at Waynesburg on Dec. 17, 2021 … The Bishops won that game by a count of 98-29, with the 69-point margin of victory breaking the previous neutral-court mark of 47 set in a 100-53 win over Albion on Dec. 29, 1994 … First-year post

Josh Hurst (Port Clinton, OH/Port Clinton) caught 11 passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns at Denison. Hurst scored on receptions of 13 yards in the first quarter and six yards in the second quarter, the latter giving the Bishops a 20-19 lead. The Clinton native’s 11 catches raised his season total to 75, breaking the OWU mark of 66 accomplished by
Calvin Cagney in 2012 and 2013 … Of Ohio Wesleyan's 10 games this season, five ended in scores never recorded during the school's 134 seasons of intercollegiate football.
Wabash, Football – Senior quarterback
Liam Thompson (Indianapolis, IN/North Central) threw for 114 yards and ran for a game-high 135 yards in the Little Giants' 33-30 overtime loss to DePauw in the 129th Monon Bell Classic Saturday. With his 114-yard effort, Thompson broke the North Coast Athletic Conference career passing record of 11,069 yards held by OWU’s
Mason Espinosa. Thompson now owns the conference records for career records in passing yards (11,152), passing touchdowns (102), and total offense (12,900) … Sophomore defensive back
Brock Robertson (Lafayette, IN/Harrison) made a career-best 16 tackles including a career-high nine solo stops in the 33-30 double-overtime loss to DePauw in the 129th Monon Bell Classic.
