MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Twenty-one North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) football players were tabbed to the 2024 D3football.com All-Region Team, released Wednesday, December 11th.
The first team included nine NCAC representatives, six on offense and three on defense. DePauw senior quarterback
Nathan McCahill (Indianapolis, IN/Cathedral), senior tight end
Gabe Quigley (Carmel, IN/Carmel), and junior wide receiver
Robby Ballentine (Crown Point, IN/Andrean), Wabash junior tackle
Quinn Sholar (Indianapolis, IN/Warren Central) and Denison senior duo, kicker
Daniel Cunningham (Lexinton, VA/Rockbridge County) and return specialist
Jaylin Epps (Cordele, GA/Crisp County) were all selected to the first team for their offensive efforts. On defense, DePauw was represented by seniors
Jonathan Bruder (Centerville, OH/Centerville), a linebacker, and
Matthew Coons (Indianapolis, IN/Bishop Chatard), a cornerback, while Denison was represented by senior safety
Collin Murphy (Sudbury, MA/Lincoln-Sudbury Regional).
The second team included seven NCAC representatives, two on offense and five on defense.
DePauw garnered five honorees on the second team, including senior tackle
Tommy Martin (Geneva, IL/Geneva), sophomore center
Zack Kerr (West Lafayette, IN/Lafayette Central Catholic), senior defensive tackle
Ethan Lowry (Indianapolis, IN/Heritage Christian), senior safety
Nolan Tully (Woodstock, GA/Blessed Trinity) and junior linebacker
Joey Roland (Greenfield, IN/Greenfield-Central). Also earning second-team honors were Kenyon senior defensive end
Andy Canonico (Kailua, HI/Punahou School) and Ohio Wesleyan junior cornerback
Jake Smothers (Radnor, OH/Buckeye Valley).
The third team included five NCAC representatives, three on offense and two on defense. DePauw junior running back
Caden Whitehead (Indianapolis, IN/Park Tudor) and sophomore guard
Bennett Smith (Park Ridge, IL/Maine South) along with Wooster senior wide receiver
Brazos Gadler (Houston, TX/Cypress Creek) earned offensive third-team honors, while Wittenberg sophomore defensive end
Dalton Allen (Delaware, OH/Hayes) and DePauw junior defensive end
Luke Nolan (Zionsville, IN/Zionsville) were selected as third-team defenders
